This is my first ever review of any fragrance, and I’ll try it to be very precise. I’m a great fan of aquatic fresh fragrances and bought it straightaway after looking at the notes, and I was not disappointed at all. Sniffing it for the first time with great expectations still made me in awe. I got this for Rs 2200/- from Muzzammil.

Performance-wise, it’s great—not as great as KAAF, but I was getting its whifs after 6-7 hours of its application on my t-shirt, and I was able to get the scent on the very next day too. (applied on a cold day)

Projection is also good around 1 to 1.5 meters.

I have never smelt Acqua di Gio Profumo/Parfum. Aqua Oud is blending aquatic freshness with more complex marine and earthy elements. Although it has a fresh, oceanic character but is more refined, with deeper woody and aromatic notes, and is simultaneously fresh, sophisticated, and elegant—a perfect fragrance for office wear with a refined masculinity—there is no OUD at all, as the name suggests otherwise. I will keep it aside to mature and enjoy it in summer.
